Pre-K
·  Must be 4 years of age by September 1, 2010
·  Language Arts: Children will learn all 26 letters of the alphabet by sight, sound and how to write them.  Daily activities will include a variety of reading and writing skills.  They will also learn how to write and recognize their name.
·  Math Skills: Learn how to count by 1’s, 5’s and 10’s to 100.  Learn numbers 1-20 by sight.  Work on sorting, grouping and patterns.
·  Social Skills: Circle time will allow for listening, sharing ideas, taking turns, and interacting with others.
·  Art/Music: At least one art project will be done weekly along with songs being learned and sung daily.
·  Science: Science will be done weekly with a story and experiment that goes along with the letter of the week.
